Our newest guest in our garden is a maple. It might be to cold and long winter here but it´s wort a test. The flowers is a dill peony. Not so usual here, so we often give our friends a part of it (else it will in invade the lawn..)
Marit loves to plant in different things. This shoe she bought in a second hand store. Perfect flower pot. Guess we will see more of that in the future.
I'm a flower nut too and don't care at all about growing vegetables. Very impractical, in the minds of some people. However, vegetables are plentiful at the farmer's market and inexpensive; flowers are not.
SvaraRaderaScott has still not been able to work up the garden to plant anything. Some years he grows potatoes, but hasn't been able to for about 4 years -- too wet in the garden.
Maple trees grow like weeds here. I think they are Manitoba Maples.
